Terms of Use

Read the terms for Mighty Scripts accounts, purchases, one-domain licenses, downloads, updates, support, refunds, and self-hosted PHP software use.

Last updated: 27 August 2026

Mighty Scripts, also written as MightyScripts, is the trading name of Mighty Codes, a sole proprietorship. These Terms apply when you use our website, account, downloadable products, licenses, updates, support, reviews, or comments.

1. Products and Accounts

We sell downloadable, self-hosted PHP scripts. Hosting, installation, customization, server management, and managed services are not included unless a separate offer clearly says otherwise.

You must be at least 18 and have legal capacity to purchase, or a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase. Keep your account information accurate and secure, and contact us if you suspect unauthorized access.

2. Product License

A purchase gives the original buyer a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license. The product, order, license, and related access must remain with that buyer and their Mighty Scripts account.

  • One license permits one active production website or domain.
  • Any additional production, development, or staging domain must be expressly included in the product offer.
  • You may request a domain change after the old domain has stopped using the product.
  • You may modify the product for your licensed installation, but support does not cover problems caused by your changes.
  • You may not resell, transfer, sublicense, redistribute, publish, leak, share, or bypass security controls for the product or license.

3. Updates and Support

Your purchase includes updates and support for the period shown on the product and checkout pages. Purchases and extensions are one-time payments; they are not subscriptions and do not renew automatically.

After access expires, your existing licensed installation and its license verification may continue. You may download the newest active release published on or before your expiration date. Later releases, new updates, and support require a manual one-time extension.

Support covers reasonable help with documented installation, configuration, use, and reproducible defects in the supported original product. It does not include hosting administration, customization, custom development, unsupported environments, customer changes, or third-party service problems. Product documentation and downloads remain limited to the original buyer and any applicable order-access rules.

4. Orders, Payments, and Refunds

Paddle is our authorized reseller and payment provider. Website prices exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Paddle displays the final amount before payment and may appear as the seller on your receipt. You must provide accurate billing information and follow Paddle's Buyer Terms.

Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy, Paddle's applicable terms, and mandatory consumer law. Downloading, installing, or using a digital product may affect refund eligibility but does not remove rights that cannot legally be waived.

If a payment is refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or successfully disputed, we may suspend or revoke the related license, downloads, updates, support, and account. A dispute is not treated as fraud merely because it was submitted.

5. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for checking the published system requirements, maintaining compatible and secure hosting, making backups, and testing installations, updates, and modifications before production use. If published requirements were materially incomplete or incorrect and the product cannot work as described, we will provide a reasonable correction, workaround, or refund where appropriate.

You are also responsible for your website, users, content, privacy, taxes, legal compliance, and third-party services. We do not guarantee income, profit, traffic, sales, rankings, advertiser approval, or business success.

6. Public Content and Acceptable Use

Approved reviews, comments, replies, associated member usernames, ratings, and timestamps may be public. Administrator-authored comments and replies appear under the generic Support Team identity rather than the administrator's account username. Some reviews originally published on CodeCanyon may be reproduced with their public buyer attribution and source link. Do not submit personal, confidential, illegal, abusive, misleading, defamatory, promotional, or unrelated material. You allow Mighty Scripts to store, moderate, format, display, and respond to content you submit.

You may not use our website or products for illegal activity, infringement, malware, spam, fraud, unauthorized access, abusive traffic, security attacks, or unauthorized distribution.

Newsletter subscription is optional. You may unsubscribe through the link in a newsletter or, for an account subscription, through member settings. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent service messages needed to operate your account, purchases, licenses, security, or support.

7. Ownership and Third Parties

Mighty Scripts owns or licenses its products, website content, code, designs, names, and documentation. A purchase does not transfer ownership. Third-party and open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

The website and products may rely on third-party services with their own terms and availability. We may reasonably change or discontinue features for security, compatibility, quality, legal, or business reasons.

8. Suspension, Warranties, and Liability

We may suspend an account, license, downloads, updates, or support for fraud, payment reversal, abuse, illegal activity, unauthorized distribution, security risk, or a material breach of these Terms.

Products are supplied according to their published description and requirements. To the extent permitted by law, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation or compatibility with every server or external service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mighty Scripts is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability for a product claim is limited to the amount paid for that product. Nothing in these Terms removes mandatory rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Changes and Contact

The latest published version of these Terms replaces earlier versions from its effective date for ongoing and future use, while preserving mandatory or already-accrued rights. Material changes may be communicated through the website, member account, or account email, and separate consent will be requested when legally required.

These Terms, the applicable product and checkout information, our Refund Policy, and our Privacy Policy form the agreement for using the website and products.
