Mighty Scripts, also written as MightyScripts, is the trading name of Mighty Codes, a sole proprietorship. This policy explains how we handle personal information when you use our website, account, products, licenses, support, reviews, and comments.
1. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the website, we may collect:
- Account details such as your name, username, email, company, tax information, billing address, newsletter preference, and securely hashed password.
- Orders, products, prices, taxes, invoices, payment status, refunds, Paddle identifiers, licenses, registered domains, access dates, and license-verification activity.
- Contact and support messages, website URLs, server details, product versions, screenshots, errors, and reproduction steps you provide.
- Reviews, comments, replies, ratings, usernames, and timestamps.
- Technical information such as IP address, browser, device, operating system, language, approximate location, referring page, visited pages, cookies, sessions, and interactions.
- Security and fraud-prevention information concerning accounts, IP addresses, proxy use, email addresses, automated traffic, and other risk indicators.
- Order download records, including your account, order, product release and version, time, and IP address when an authorized download starts.
Do not send passwords, private keys, root credentials, or unnecessary confidential information through ordinary messages.
2. Payments and Licenses
Paddle is the authorized reseller and payment provider. It processes payment-card details under its Privacy Policy. Mighty Scripts does not receive or store your full card number.
We process order, payment, domain, website URL, license key, status, verification, and order-download information to deliver purchases, determine available releases, operate licenses, provide support, process refunds and disputes, and prevent unauthorized use. Authorized administrators may review related orders, payments, and download records by customer, order, or product release for those purposes. Purchases and manual updates-and-support extensions are one-time payments; we do not process Paddle subscription identifiers for them.
3. How We Use Information
We use information to create and secure accounts, process purchases, deliver downloads, issue and verify licenses, provide updates and support, manage invoices and refunds, moderate public content, communicate with you, improve the website and products, prevent fraud and abuse, enforce our Terms of Use, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory duties.
Depending on the activity and applicable law, processing is based on our contract with you, legal obligations, legitimate business and security interests, consent where required, or the establishment and defense of legal claims.
4. Reviews, Comments, and Public Content
Approved reviews, comments, replies, usernames, ratings, and timestamps may be public and may be indexed or copied by others. Administrators may moderate and respond to submissions. Replaced review versions may be retained privately as read-only moderation history. Do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in public content.
5. Cookies and External Services
We use essential cookies for sessions, security, authentication, and remembering cookie-notice acknowledgement. Blocking them may prevent website features from working.
Google Analytics is active and may collect a client identifier, browser and device information, approximate location, referring page, visited pages, session statistics, and interactions, and may set cookies such as _ga. We may use Google Ads for conversion measurement, load Google Fonts from Google, and use Google reCAPTCHA or Cloudflare Turnstile for bot protection.
The cookie notice provides information and an acknowledgement action. You may also control cookies through your browser or device settings. Google handles information under its Privacy Policy.
6. Emails
We may send necessary account, security, purchase, invoice, payment, license, download, expiration, extension, refund, support, review, comment, reply, product, policy, or service messages. We send marketing messages only when you have opted in, and you may opt out at any time.
7. Sharing and International Processing
We share information only as reasonably necessary with Paddle, Google, Cloudflare when used, fraud and security providers, email providers, hosting and infrastructure providers, professional advisers, or authorities where legally required. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.
Providers may process information in the United Kingdom, European Economic Area, United States, or other locations described in their policies. Where required, international transfers rely on recognized legal safeguards.
8. Retention and Security
We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for accounts, purchases, licenses, download access, support, moderation, fraud prevention, security, refunds, disputes, tax, accounting, backups, or other legal obligations. Order download records are retained while they remain reasonably necessary for those purposes; when information is no longer needed, it may be deleted or anonymized. Service providers may retain information under their own policies and legal duties.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no website, server, database, or internet transmission is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your account and securing your own hosting and installed products.
9. Privacy Requests
Depending on applicable law, you may request correction of inaccurate information, deletion or anonymization of eligible information, object to eligible processing based on legitimate interests, or opt out of marketing.
Submit a request through the Mighty Scripts contact form. We may verify your identity through your account, account email, or other reasonable information. Requests are handled within the period required by applicable law and may be limited by tax, payment, licensing, fraud-prevention, security, dispute, contractual, or other legal requirements.
10. Children
The website and products are intended for people who are at least 18 and have legal capacity to purchase. Otherwise, a parent or legal guardian must make the purchase. If we learn that an ineligible child provided personal information, we will handle it as required by law.
11. Changes and Contact
The latest published version of this policy automatically replaces earlier versions from its effective date and applies to ongoing and future use. Material changes may be communicated through the website, member account, or account email. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the update, except where separate consent is legally required.
For privacy questions or requests, use the Mighty Scripts contact form.
